Project | 01 Social Emotional Skills Lab

Incarcerated juvenile offenders look forward to the day they are released and re-enter society. Preparation for their re-entry through the Meta-Morphosis Paradigm Shift Program consists of a three-pronged approach: 1) Social-Emotional Skills Lab (while incarcerated), 2) Visitation and Mentoring (while incarcerated), and 3) Re-entry Assistance (post-release). The Social Emotional Skills Lab’s goal is that of equipping juvenile offenders with 20 social emotional skills that are applicable in four social situations they may encounter upon release, including home, school, work, and peer-group.

Project | 05 Girls Supporting Girls

Bold. Beautiful. Brilliant. These are the characteristics we want attendees to hone in on at the 2019 TGIF Girls Supporting Girls Conference. This confidence-boosting event is a day for middle and high schools girls (ages 12 to 18) throughout Delaware and Morrow counties to socialize and engage through skill-building and self-care activities. Six sessions of instruction were written for goal setting, decision-making, defining beauty, and self-care.
